Living Water

from Honor House by Antioch College Ministry

/

about

This song came out of a few Scriptures.

- Psalm 51
God is able to wash the deepest parts of me. He cleansed me from slavery to iniquity in Christ.

- Hosea 10:12
In Hosea, God calls his people to break up their fallow ground, their uncultivated places, that they might seek God and live in righteousness before Him. I fall short of this calling so much. But I am not downcast, because God has given me the Helper, the Holy Spirit, to cultivate and sow righteousness within my heart and fasten me to seek God. Thank you, Lord!

- Galatians 5:22-23
The Spirit bears fruit in my life.

- Isaiah 26:8
This is a cry for God to come. He reigns alone and we wait expectantly for Him.

lyrics

You wash the deepest parts of me, God [repeat x3]
I am free

Living Water runs inside me
Breaking up my fallow ground
Holy Spirit Your inside me
Bearing fruit and healing now
Fill me up

We wait, we pray
For You to come today
Our God, You reign alone!
