about

This is a song to worship the Son. He is worthy of affection.

Scriptures:

- Song of Songs 6:3
I am my beloveds and He is mine.

- Revelation 19:11-12
In this scripture Jesus is named, "Faithful and True."

- Colossians 1:13-23
Jesus is God. Forever. He created all things. He upholds all things.

- Isaiah 6:1
Jesus is high and lifted up!

- Acts 7:56-57
This is the passage right before Stephen is martyred for proclaiming Jesus. He sees the glory of God, and Jesus at the right hand of the Father. The line "Your glory stands before me, it's filling my cup" means when we see the glory of God, it is all satisfying. For Stephen's circumstance it also means that in that within the place of being wholly satisfied in God, He prepares us to drink from the cup that Jesus drank from (Luke 22:42).

- Colossians 1:22
In Christ, I stand before God holy, blameless, and beyond reproach. I am His beloved.

lyrics

You are good, You are great, You are beautiful
Jesus Christ, You are mine, true and faithful

You are God, forever I surrender all
Forever, I surrender all [repeat x2]
To Your Name

Jesus, high and lifted up
Your glory stands before me
It's filling my cup

Jesus, high and lifted up
I will stand before You
Holy and beloved
